Wegard Trail is a modular and freely configurable tugger train system. According to your requirements, the autonomously steering axle module can be flexibly combined with lifting and load modules. We build the customized tugger train for you, starting with an inexpensive platform trailer up to individualized trailers with automatic lifting and locking system.
At the heart of the modular tugger train system is the autonomous electric steering. The innovative steering algorithm ensures perfect tracking stability without the need to route steering information from the tractor or from one trailer to the next. This allows the system to be freely configurable according to your requirements with virtually no design restrictions as with other steering systems.
Trailers of different lengths and various load modules can also be combined with any tractor to form a route train.
The electric steering system also enables special driving maneuvers such as side parking, maneuvering and short reversing.
